Goat breeding plans-2026
Breeding time is always an exciting and busy time of year, and it's full of planning.
Char
Char is a really striking Spanish/Nigerian cross. He's stocky, has good conformation, and comes from great dairy lines! Three of the does we're breeding him to are purebred Nubians, and so their kids will be a mix of all three breeds currently in our breeding program!
Joseph
Joseph is an F1 Mini Nubian (a Nigerian/Nubian cross). His dam, Ashley, is one of my favorite does, and he is another generation into our intentional crossbreeding project. This is the first time we'll be breeding any of our hybrids, and we're really excited to see how they perform.
Bruno
Pinto
Pinto is a young Nigerian buck out of Giselle and Dustin. He's looking quite impressive so far, and we're really excited to see how his kids do! The Nigerians have brought really great frame strength to our goat herd. Wide and square legs and stocky frames.
