Khardi is an absolutely fantastic mother. She is very attentive and nurturing for the long haul. By the time weening time rolls around, the other does breathe a sigh of relief and get on with life. Not so Khardi, weening time for Khardi means days of crying for her babies whenever she sees anybody and certainly all night long. She has a fantastic udder and is great on the milk staunch.

Champagne is one of our foundation Spanish does. She has lovely, soft cashmere fleece and a really nice sturdy body. We're excited to see her udder fill out as she gets ready for kidding. Our Spanish additions were not particularly used to people when we got them (read they were absolutely petrified of us), but they are now much more comfortable and accepting of our attention and it is delightful to interact with them.

Fantasia's soft coat is the most beautiful blend of warm browns, greys, and creams: a perfect compliment for Peaceful Valley's natural color palette. We're excited to see her udder develop as well and to observe her mothering abilities. We can already see the inclement/cold weather hardiness we were hoping for when we added the Spanish to our fold.

Chilili doesn't have the best udder on the planet herself, but she throws amazing kids: long flat toplines, great depth of body, and fun colors. She has also held her body conditioning well on our Wyoming pastures in a drought, which is saying a lot!

Carlie is probably the sturdiest doe we have. She holds conditioning well and her udder, though smaller than is ideal, is nicely shaped and well attached. She kidded for the first time in 2022 and did a great job as a mother.
