Sale Barn - Ewes
We're so excited you're interested in our Ewes! Below are listed the available adults, yearlings, and lambs. If there's something specific you're looking for, feel free to reach out! If you're looking for a starter flock, check out the "compatible rams" section under each of the ewes descriptions. Depending on your level as skill as a breeder, there might be more rams that we could suggest selling with each ewe. If you like the look of our flock but want something a bit different than the sheep listed for sale, please feel free to reach out with your request. There are a couple others we're still debating about that we might be willing to part with for the right home.

These ladies are tried and true. We know what they throw, we know what their fleece and frames are like...

Adults (bred, unproven)
These girls are either breeding age, or sold bred. They haven't lambed yet.

Yearlings
Yearlings are the age group we sell from the most. They have gone through a year, been rood, and we can see how their frames turned out.

Lambs
Ewe lambs are sold once weaned. We don't know as much about how they'll grow out, but are pretty confident in them from what we can see.

April is a proven ewe and has lambed twice. She is a very nice all around balanced ewe, with a gentle temperament.
- Frame: Her frame is well balanced and very accurate. She has a long body, squared legs, and smooth shoulders. She's fairly light boned.
- Fleece: April has soft fleece that's lustrous, long, and very curly.
- Dairy Genetics: She has a very nice udder that's fairly balanced on everything, and would be a great foundation for udder improvement. She has long teats that are well placed, and her udder has a softly rounded shape.
- Temperament: She's a gentle ewe who does come up for rubs, but is never pushy or over bearing in her attention. She has a pretty nice milking temperament.

Claara is a lovely ewe, and comes from a tried and true cross! Well rounded, but with emphasis on incredible fleece.
- Frame: Her frame is very stocky and balanced. She has smooth shoulders, a flat topline, great muscling, and very square and straight legs.
- Fleece: Her fleece is soft, dense, lustrous, and very curly. She roes really well, so if you're looking to improve that trait in your flock, she would be an amazing ewe to bring that! The most consistent trait she's thrown is amazing fleece that's thick, soft, and long.
- Dairy Genetics: Nice udder with a well rounded shape and good attachments.
- Temperament: She's very reserved. Has been hand-milked and has a nice milking temperament.

Clarabell is a gorgeous girl, with good dairy and rooing genetics. Needs to go to either a wetter climate or have irrigated pastures as she doesn't hold weight on our tough pastures.
- Frame: Pretty delicate and dairy type, but with very nice, wide back legs.
- Fleece: Tog heavy but pretty dense. She is a very fast and clean rooer!
- Dairy Genetics: Comes from impressive dairy lines. She freshened with a smaller udder this spring due to low weight (bad hay), but increased production as we improved their hay and alfalfa. Has a very nice milking temperament.
- Temperament: Gentle and friendly. Clarabelle loves attention!

Isabelle is a great example of an all around balanced ewe. Great fleece, strong frame, great dairy genetics...
- Frame: Her frame is very stocky and balanced. She has smooth shoulders, a flat topline, and great muscling.
- Fleece: Her fleece is soft, dense, lustrous, and very curly. She roes really well, so if you're looking to improve that trait in your flock, she would be an amazing ewe to bring that!
- Dairy Genetics: Very nice first freshener udder with a rounded shape, long and well placed teats, and nice attachments.
- Temperament: She's very reserved. Has been hand-milked and has a nice milking temperament.

Magda is an impressive ewe that we would definitely want to hold on to if we had the flock space. Her fleece is gorgeous, her frame is stocky, and she roes very well. She's out of TCE Glacier lines through her dam.
- Frame: Her frame is very stocky and balanced. She has smooth shoulders, a flat topline, and nice legs.
- Fleece: Her fleece is soft, dense, lustrous, and very curly. She roes really well, so if you're looking to improve that trait in your flock, she would be an amazing start!
- Dairy Genetics: She has a very nice udder with a well rounded shape and nicely placed teats. She has been hand milked, but doesn't have a good milking temperament. So while she will bring nice dairy genetics, I wouldn't suggest getting her to milk.
- Temperament: She's a very reserved ewe, and will respect your space.
