Useful books and websites to make all of your lovely milk more shelf-stable and to manage and care for your milk producers:

Milk Processing

The Art of Fermentation by Sandor Katz
New England Cheesemaking Supply Company -- Great source for all things cheese.
Leeners -- Cheesemaking supplies, sourdough, etc.
San Francisco Salt Co. -- Fantastic source for bulk gourmet sea salts (we like their French Grey).
Cultures for Health -- Heritage yogurt starts, Kefir berries, etc.
Seed Renaissance -- The yogurt culture we currently use is the Viili start from this site.

Raw Milk and Milk Production
Keeping a Family Cow by Joann S. Grohman -- This has been a fantastic reference book as we went from knowing nothing about cows to owning one.
Keeping a Family Cow web forum -- A useful forum of cow owners and lovers.
Weston A Price Foundation -- Articles and research about milk and other real foods.

A Campaign for Real Milk -- Articles, research, legal requirements, and local sources for raw milk
